(NEW TECUMSETH, ON) (ADJALA-TOSORONTIO, ON) – Members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged two individuals with impaired driving offences following traffic complaints for suspected impaired drivers.
On Saturday, February 14, 2026, shortly after 10:00 a.m., Nottawasaga OPP officers responded to a traffic complaint for a possible impaired driver who had been swerving all over the road, turning the opposite direction of their turn signal and while fueling at a gas station they were observed staggering and almost fell into the pump. Police located the vehicle in Alliston and conducted a traffic stop.

Officers arrived on scene and began an impaired investigation.
As a result of the investigations, officers arrested both drivers for impaired operation.
