McDOUGALL Arrested For Drunk Driving

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Welland, Ontario resident with criminal driving offences following a traffic stop on Bluewater Highway in the Municipality of Central Huron.
Just before 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 07, 2025, Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop for speeding and spoke to the vehicle driver who had consumed alcohol prior to driving.
The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation and transported to the Perth County OPP detachment in Sebringville where they provided breath samples before a qualified OPP Intoxilyzer Breath Technician. Breath samples were provided to police which resulted in readings over the legal limit.
Danielle McDOUGALL, 31 years-of-age from Welland has been charged with:
Operation while Impaired Alcohol and Drugs,
Operation while Impaired Over 80.
The accused was additionally charged with two offences found in the Cannabis Control Act (CCA) and the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused drivers license was suspended for a period of 90 days.
The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice Goderich on December 8th, 2025.
