(BLUEWATER, ON) The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual following an incident on Long Hill Road in the Municipality of Bluewater on September 18th, 2025.
On Thursday, September 18th, 2025, Huron OPP officers were contacted by the complainant, who was reportedly assaulted by another person in Bayfield earlier that same day. Police subsequently located and arrested the suspect on September 19th.
Evan SMITH, 31-years-of-age from Central Huron has been charged with the following offence:
Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice Goderich on October 27th, 2025.
