(DRYDEN, ON) Members of the Dryden Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment have arrested and charged one individual with impaired operation.
On June 14, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m. members of the Dryden OPP Detachment conducted a traffic stop on Cascade Road, in the Township of Machin.
As a result of the investigation, it was determined that the driver of the motor vehicle had been impaired by alcohol/drug. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Dryden detachment OPP Detachment for further testing.
Glendon WISE, 43-years-old, of Eagle River, has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with the following:
· Operation while impaired by blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
· Operation while impaired alcohol and drugs
· Dangerous operation
· Drive while passenger under the age of 16 fails to properly wear a seat belt
· Drive while child passenger not properly secured
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on July 28, 2025.
