25 Year Old From Brockton Arrested Details Released

(BROCKTON, ON) On March 5, 2025, at approximately 4:45 p.m., a member of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped to check a vehicle along Catherine Street, Municipality of Brockton.
The investigating officer detected signs of impairment from the involved driver. The driver was placed under arrest and transported for further testing.
Roy KING, 25-years-old, of Brockton, was charged with:
Operation while Impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus), CC 320.14(1)(b)
Operation while prohibited, CC 320.18(1)(a)
Dangerous operation, CC 320.13(1)
Driving while under suspension, HTA 53(1) two counts
Operate unsafe vehicle, HTA 84(1)
Use plate not authorized, HTA 12(1)(d)
Operate a motor vehicle without insurance, CAIA 2(1)(a)
The accused was held in custody by police for a bail hearing and subsequently released. They are to reappear at the Walkerton Court of Justice on April 2, 2025.
