Details:
On February 5, 2025, at approximately 07:48 hours, the Chatham-Kent Police Service received a call for service for an unwanted person on Third Street, Chatham. A 49-year-old female from Chatham-Kent was arrested on reasonable and probable grounds, for theft and possession under $5000. She was arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters. The arrestee was later released with conditions and a future court date of March 24, 2025.

Details:
On February 5, 2025, at 15:00 hours, the Chatham-Kent Police Service conducted a person welfare check at St. Clair Street, Chatham. While conducting the welfare check, a 52-year-old female from Chatham-Kent was arrested on a catch-and-release warrant for failing to comply with her probation. She was released with conditions and a future court date of March 3, 2025.

Details:
On February 5, 2025, at approximately 22:32 hours, a 63-year-old male from Harwich Township was arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police Service for an outstanding DNA warrant. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Headquarters where he was processed and released unconditionally.

Date: February 5, 2025, Time: 22:35 hrs., Location: Wellington Street West, Chatham
Details:
On February 5, 2025, at approximately 22:35 hours, a local business owner on Wellington Street, Chatham, contacted the Chatham-Kent Police Service. The business owner reported that someone had tampered with the direction of her CCTV camera. The Chatham-Kent Police responded to the call, identified, and located a 42-year-old male from Chatham. He is currently facing the following charges: theft under $5000, possession of stolen property and two counts of failing to attend court. Subsequently, he is being held for bail.
