Repeat Offender Arrested For Domestic Assault #WaitInTheTruck

(KILLALOE, ON) Criminal charges have been laid in a recent Intimate Partner Violence call.
On July 14, 2024, members of the Killaloe Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an assault on the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan Ontario First Nation Territory. As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged a 32-year-old from Pikwakanagan with the following Criminal Code offences:
domestic assault cause bodily harm;
domestic assault (two counts); and,
breach of release conditions.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail court hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice, Pembroke. The name of the accused has been withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
