(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) An individual has been charged following an investigation into an incident of impaired driving.
At approximately 5:47 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2024, officers from Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment responded to a 9-1-1 call from a concerned citizen regarding a possible impaired driver on Imperial Street in Delhi, Norfolk County.
Shortly after receiving the call, patrolling officers located vehicle on McDowell Road East in Charlotteville, Norfolk County.
After assessing the drivers sobriety at the roadside, the driver was taken into custody without incident.
Charged with the following alleged offences is 30-year-old Dillan BAKER of Norfolk County:
Operation while impaired alcohol and drugs,
Failure or refusal to comply with demand,
Dangerous operation,
Driving while under suspension,
Fail to comply with Probation Order.
The accused was detained in custody and is scheduled to appear at a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Simcoe.
