On Thursday, November 11, 2020, at approximately 5:25 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to the area of Westwood Drive in Kitchener for reports of shots fired. There was an extensive police presence in the area for most of the day. Police have located evidence confirming a shooting occurred and believe it is a targeted incident between individuals known to each other.
