Fatal Collision Near Brussels

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently on scene of a two-vehicle fatal crash that has taken place west of Brussels.

This morning at approximately 10:13 a.m., Huron County OPP, Huron County Paramedic Services and Huron East Fire Department responded to the crash scene located at the intersection of Morris Road (County Road #16) and Clyde Line.

A motorcycle and a pickup truck collided within the intersection.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital by ambulance and was later pronounced deceased.

Members from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team are currently on scene assisting with the collision investigation.

The name of the deceased will be released pending next-of-kin notification.

Morris Road and Clyde Line will be closed near the intersection for the next several hours. Please take an alternate route to avoid a delay.
